Join us for an insightful industry port and site tour of the port operations and the new wharf, Bledisloe North. Attendees shall meet at the Port Access Office on Tinley Street at 1430. Please note that parking is not available on the port.
VISIT DESCRIPTION: The site visit will consist of the following:
- Port of Auckland Port Tour.
- Bledisloe North Wharf Site Tour by HEB Construction.
- HEB Presentation on Construction.
- Port of Auckland Presentation on the wharf and port.
Networking after the event will be at the Brit Pub, (122 Quay Street, Auckland CBD)

BACKGROUND
Bledisloe North Wharf project is the construction of a new multi-cargo wharf structure at the northern edge of the existing Bledisloe Terminal. The first project through the Fast-Track Consent process, the construction of the wharf enables improved efficiency of port operations. The location allows berthing cruise ships to utilise the new cruise terminal facility, providing further efficiencies.
The wharf, design by Beca Limited, is a 320m long suspended deck over revetment. HEB Construction is progressing with the construction of the wharf in which the site visit aims to provide an over view of the project and insights into the challenges encountered and subsequent innovations employed.
