PIANC VIC – Searoad Ferries Queenscliff Site Visit 30 April 2026

PIANC VIC welcomes members and non-members to join us for an information session & site visit Thursday afternoon 30 April, followed by a drink and nibbles with like-minded peers and local leaders from the ports and maritime industry.

We will hear from:

-CEO of Searoad Ferries Matt McDonald to provide an overview of the recent Queenscliff Ferry terminal upgrade and to provide a show-and-tell tour of the facilities, including the berthing arrangement, dredge pocket and the pedestrian loading boom.

–Parks Victoria to present an overview of their role in managing recreational navigation infrastructure around Port Phillip Bay, with insights into small‑scale dredging programs of recreation-scale facilities and how dredged material can deliver wider coastal and environmental benefits.

Refreshments and canapes will be provided. Ticket costs are below:
