Wednesday 30th April 2025 – Welcome Drinks Function at Island State Brewing, Market Square Pavilion, Devonport
Conference sessions will be held at the Paranaple Convention Centre in Devonport.
Thursday 1st May 2025 – Invited and keynote technical presentations – Conference Dinner
Friday 2nd May 2025 – Morning Technical Tours – TasRail Shiploader (Burnie) and Devonport Port Precinct
Technical presentations will be focussed on the following themes:
- Offshore Wind Developments in Bass Strait: Engineering challenges and how they can be overcome.
- Port Developments in Northern Tasmania
Come and hear TasPorts CEO, Anthony Donald, give an industry update about TasPorts current and upcoming projects.

Conference dinner will be at the Paranaple Convention Centre, where we also hear some words from Guest of Honour, Mayor Cr Alison Jarman of Devonport.
There will be a choice of two options for the Technical Tour on the morning of Friday 2nd May between:
- A bus ride to Burnie Port for a presentation by TasRail about the new shiploader on Berth 5, or
- A tour of Devonport Port Precinct, including a cruise on the 89-year-old tall ship, Julie Burgess
