PIANC Tasmania Seminar Hobart 13-14 June 2024

Following on from our highly successful conference last year at AMC Launceston, please join the Tasmanian Chapter of PIANC for our next Seminar, from 13th – 14th June in Hobart.  Register now. 

The seminar will be held at Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), 20 Castray Esplanade, Battery Point TAS 7004.

Hear technical presentations showcasing different Tasmanian based projects with speakers from a range of companies including: TasPorts, AMC, McConnell Dowell, BridgePro, CoreMarine amongst others. A selection of these presentations will focus specifically on the new Bridgewater Bridge project, providing different perspectives and insights on the largest transport infrastructure project in Tasmania’s history.

The keynote presentation will be from Michel de Vos, TasPorts Group Executive – Major Projects, Assets and Technical Services.

We will start with light lunch at IMAS on 13th June before the Seminar commences. The presentations will finish at around 5pm followed by the Seminar Dinner at Mures Upper Deck.

The Technical Tour of Bridgewater Bridge with McConnell Dowell will be on the morning of 14th June departing from IMAS at around 09.00 and concluding at around 11.30am.

COST: 

The cost of the event will be $210 (inc GST) for members and non-members. For non-members there will be an additional charge of $100 for Associate membership of PIANC AU-NZ for the period of the seminar. That Associate membership charge can be used as part payment to a full membership within three months of the Seminar.
