PIANC NSW and NSW COPEP’s annual full day seminar will be held on Monday Aug 12, 2024 at the Engineers Australia CBD offices, Mezzanine, 44 Market Street , Sydney 2000.
This year’s theme is Engineering With Nature and the team has put together a great range of talks that span historical contexts, guidelines, to some of the present day methods and projects.
Engineering with nature offers the promise of managing the increasing risks to coastal communities, and structures, whilst also addressing loss of habitat and biodiversity. But how effectively can this be realised? What solutions have worked in the past, what technical guidance is available and what barriers still need to be overcome? This full day seminar will explore these questions.
Join us for a day of knowledge sharing, informative discussion and networking to improve the way we protect and enhance our coastline and waterways.
