PIANC (World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure) has organised an exciting series of leadership breakfasts across Australia.

Hear from industry professionals about their career journey and meet other like-minded YPs. This event is open to anyone under 40 years of age working in or interested in the ports and marine industry including students, and those working in related industries such as coastal, environmental, logistics etc.
We will hear from two industry professionals about their career journeys and meet other likeminded YPs over breakfast.
This event is FREE but registrations are ESSENTIAL
Lana Van Wyk – Principal Advisory, Hatch
Lana has over 25 years of experience in development of strategy, business analysis, financial modelling, and strategic planning. At present Lana is a principal at Hatch with experience across many industries including ports and maritime.
Lana represents Hatch on the Green Hydrogen Consortium and in the Heavy Industry Low-emissions Transition CRC. Lana will be discussing her career journey and what she hopes to achieve in the future.
Tom Bishton – Senior Associate, Beca
Tom is a Chartered Engineer with over 15 years experience in the planning, design, and remediation of marine infrastructure. Tom has international experience including working in the UK. He currently sits on committees for the Institution of Civil Engineers and the PIANC Queensland Chapter.
Tom will be speaking about how he started out in the ports and marine industry, some of his project and career highlights and what he has learned from his experiences.
