Welcome new NSW Chair Sam Isaacs

PIANC AU-NZ is delighted to welcome our new Regional Chapter Chair for NSW, Sam Isaacs, Senior Project Manager at the Port Authority of NSW.  Sam took up the role from Catherine Blaine at the end of 2024, after her election to the PIANC AU-NZ Board. A huge thank you to Catherine for her work over the last three years as NSW Chair!

With over 15 years working in the maritime and port industry across engineering consultancy and port asset owner roles, Sam has specialist knowledge in the design and on-going asset management of maritime and port facilities including port master planning, waterside design aspects and landside connectivity.

Sam is also a keen advocate of PIANC, and was an active member of both PIANC’s Young Professionals for many years,  and the Local Organising Committee of PIANC’s very successful APAC Conference held in Sydney 2024.

He stepped into the role of Regional Chapter Chair because, he says, “After years of attending PIANC events, I am excited to lead the NSW chapter committee and facilitate high-quality technical and networking events, with a focus on expanding their availability across NSW.”

Thank you Sam for stepping up into a leadership role at PIANC AU-NZ. Exciting times ahead!
