Working Group: Design Guidelines for Marine Multipurpose Terminals – MarCom WG213
Venket has over 40 years of specialist experience in ports and maritime civil engineering, specializing in engineering feasibility studies, rehabilitation and upgrade of wharf structures, port master planning and design management for ports and marine infrastructure. During this period, he has had considerable experience in reviewing and assessing functional and operational requirements related to port and container terminal development in conventional, semi-automated and automated container ports.
Working Group: Design Guidelines for Ports in Small Island Countries – MarCom WG240
Richard has 27 years of experience in the field of ports and maritime engineering and has delivered port master plans, port development strategies and maritime infrastructure for clients around the world, covering the majority of existing (and future) ports in Victoria (Australia), the gateway ports in Tasmania, Albany (WA), Napier in New Zealand, Saipan, and several Islands in the Pacific. Richard is a former PIANC A&NZ Board Member. For Committee for Geelong, he is a Board member and contributor to the Strategy & Policy Committee.
