DESCRIPTION:Join us for an insightful industry port and site tour of the port operations and the new wharf\, Bledisloe North. Attendees shall meet at the Port Access Office on Tinley Street at 1430.  Please note that parking is not available on the port. \nVISIT DESCRIPTION: The site visit will consist of the following: \n\nPort of Auckland Port Tour.\nBledisloe North Wharf Site Tour by HEB Construction.\nHEB Presentation on Construction.\nPort of Auckland Presentation on the wharf and port.\n\nNetworking after the event will be at the Brit Pub\, (122 Quay Street\, Auckland CBD) \nOur thanks to Event Supporters @Port of Auckland and HEB Construction. \nBACKGROUND\nBledisloe North Wharf project is the construction of a new multi-cargo wharf structure at the northern edge of the existing Bledisloe Terminal. The first project through the Fast-Track Consent process\, the construction of the wharf enables improved efficiency of port operations. The location allows berthing cruise ships to utilise the new cruise terminal facility\, providing further efficiencies. \nThe wharf\, design by Beca Limited\, is a 320m long suspended deck over revetment.
