DESCRIPTION:Resilient Coasts and Waterways – Insights on our journey\n\n\n\n\nThis one day seminar will provide insights on how NSW is progressing on the journey towards a more resilient and sustainable future on the coast. Whilst the focus is on NSW\, wider examples will be discussed and compared. \nAll angles will be covered from strategic planning through to design examples and emergency management with plenty of case studies. \nYou will hear from 11 eminent speakers across academia\, industry and government from coastal\, maritime and port engineering and science backgrounds. \nLearning outcomes  \nKey themes for the seminar include:  \n\nCoastal Management Programs – the Strategic Approach to resilience in NSW.\nEmergency management and preparedness – resilience to extreme events.\nDesign and analysis – designing for well adapted infrastructure\, environments and communities.\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is available in person only\, so please join us for a day of networking and professional development (7 CPD hours) in Sydney’s CBD. \n\n\n\n\nMorning tea\, lunch\, afternoon tea and drinks are included in the ticket price.
