DESCRIPTION:Industry event for ports and maritime professionals to spread the word about our industry and meet students\n\n\n\n\n\nWe invite students from all universities and schools on Thursday 11 August 4-5.30pm at the Tav\, Curtin University to join us to discuss career options in Ports and Maritime related industries including related fields such as coastal\, construction\, research\, environmental\, etc… \nThis event is FREE for students. \nWe invite PIANC member companies to attend with 1- 3 people and 1 x free standing promotional banner. You are welcome to give out brochures and business cards but keep in mind the intent is to spread knowledge and enthusiasm about our industry as a whole. \nThe cost to attend is $100 per company\, which will contribute to the cost of this event and support our other student and young professional activities such as our popular leadership breakfast series. DESCRIPTION:Darwin plays a key role in building capacity for Northern Australia’s economic expansion and supporting the growth of numerous export industry sectors through the strategic development of waterborne infrastructure and services. \nGiven that\, Ports Australia and PIANC ANZ Northern Chapter have planned a joint event in Darwin from Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 October – The Engineering & Asset Management Working Group. \nPIANC and Ports Australia encourage all members to attend in person\, however there will be an option to videoconference in as well. \nThe Working Group will provide a suitable platform for port and waterfront infrastructure leaders and professionals to come together\, exchange the latest knowledge\, and share their experiences and lessons learnt while considering the current and future development of the maritime infrastructure in this strategic region. \nProgram Now Available Here\nThe program contains social networking dinner\, port tour and presentations related to following topics \n\nUpdates on standards and guidelines\nPort infrastructure projects and challenges\nAsset management\nSmart Port / Digitisation\n\n PLEASE NOTE: * Monday 17 October dinner and Tuesday 18 October morning session are for Ports Australia port members only. \n*From Tuesday 18 October 12pm onwards\, all Ports Australia and PIANC A&NZ members are welcome to attend. This includes the port tour and a dinner on Tuesday 18 October. \nA detailed program will be circulated to the registered attendees prior to the event. \nThis event is FREE to PIANC A&NZ Members!
