Port Botany Foreshore – Sydney, NSW – November 2010

Sydney Ports has invested $30 million into the recreational, visual and ecological enhancement of the public open space area south of Foreshore Road, as part of the expansion of Port Botany to create 60 hectares for new container handling facilities through dredging and reclamation.

Sydney Ports has invested $8 million into the rehabilitation and expansion of Penrhyn Estuary as a locally significant habitat for migratory shorebirds, as part of the expansion of Port Botany which will see the creation of 60 hectares for new container handling facilities through dredging and reclamation.
